The Story

It all started with a music in Julie Martineau’s head…
She asked Anna Chernikova to illustrate a Golden Queen, inspired by Elizabeth 2, Queen of England, from her photos at various ages.
Then the story came, with the idea of a notebook to sell to help friends who are ill following medical treatments.

To her amazement, it turned out that the birth of this story also coincided with the 70th anniversary of the Queen’s coronation, much to the author’s surprise, who didn’t know this event was coming.
This story was also created on the 99th birthday of her own grandmother, who bore a fairly close resemblance to the real Queen.

The Golden Be Queen — or TGBQ — illustrates how the world is ultimately a perfect interplay between individual life and the universe one inhabits.
